Optional use of the name badge. Serves as a control unit for additional functions in the respective room and as a gateway to the higher central unit (data bus).
Monitoring/synchronization of all data traffic as well as audio connections (calls, announcements) to other rooms within the organizational unit, coordination of communication with the central units and other participants via data bus. Configuration data management via the central unit, redundant local flash storage and use of profiles (functions, I/O, device services). Connection of the multifunctional room units via the data bus (DBUS) as well as use of call inputs (I/O) for connection to the room controller and integration into the data bus, ZBUS. Use of user-friendly installation technology with color-coded connection terminals for the individual device and control functions, for efficient cabling and to optimize the commissioning process.
