Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

(The following General Terms and Conditions also contain legal information on your rights according to the regulations on contracts in distance selling and electronic commerce). 

1. Scope

For the business relations between the shop operator and the customer these general terms and conditions apply exclusively.

2. Conclusion of contract

The product presentations in this online shop do not constitute a legally binding offer, but merely an invitation to order, i.e. to submit a purchase offer by the consumer. After placing the desired goods in the shopping cart and going through the ordering process, you finally make a binding offer to purchase the goods in the shopping cart by clicking on the button “Place chargeable order". When you place an order with us, we will immediately send you a message by e-mail confirming receipt of your order (order confirmation). The purchase contract is then concluded with the order confirmation of the shop operator or delivery of the goods. If the customer does not receive an order confirmation or delivery from the shop operator within 72 hours, the customer is no longer bound to his order. In case of choosing "prepayment" as payment method, the "order confirmation" does not yet represent an acceptance of your offer, but shall inform you that we have received your order. In this case, i.e., in the case of choosing "payment in advance" as payment method, you will receive a separate e-mail within 72 hours after the order confirmation e-mail in which we inform you about the conclusion of the purchase contract. If we confirm the conclusion of the purchase contract and request payment, the purchase contract is effectively concluded with this e-mail if you have selected "payment in advance" as the method of payment. Otherwise you are no longer bound to your binding purchase offer. If, on the other hand, you have chosen the payment method "PayPal", the purchase contract for the goods ordered by you is concluded with us at the time of the confirmation of the payment instruction with the payment service provider, i.e., with your effectively completed payment via PayPal. The prerequisite for effective conclusion of a purchase contract is always the proper completion of the entire ordering process.

3. Prices and shipping costs

The prices are inclusive of statutory value added tax. The shipping costs depend on the quantity of the ordered goods as well as the shipping method and will be clearly communicated to the customer before submitting his or her binding order.

4. Payment, due date, default on payment

4.1. The purchase price including all costs is due from the invoice date.
4.2. Payments must be made strictly net without discounts or other deductions, unless another mode of payment is expressly agreed in writing.

Cancellation policy

5.1. Right to cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.

a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) of your decision to cancel this contract. You can use the attached sample cancellation form, which is not mandatory.

 

You can also fill out and submit the sample cancellation form or another declaration electronically on our website. If you make use of this option, we will send you a confirmation of receipt of such cancellation without delay (e.g. by e-mail).

In order to comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right to cancellation before expiry of the cancellation period.

 

5.2. Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery that we offer), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this refund, we use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged for this refund. We may refuse to refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever occurs earlier.

You must, without delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract, return the goods or hand them over to us

The deadline is met if you send the goods before expiry of the fourteen-day period. You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You only have to pay for any loss of value of the goods if this loss of value is due to the handling of the goods which is not necessary for the inspection of the quality, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

 

End of the cancellation policy

6. Retention of title

The delivered goods remain the property of the shop operator until full payment.

7. Statutory liability for defects/warranty

By law, the statutory right of liability for defects is two years for the sale of new goods. The period for the assertion of the legal right of liability for defects begins in each case with the receipt of the goods by the purchaser. Information on any additional manufacturer's warranties can be found in the product information.

For a possible correction of the entries made by the purchaser within the order steps, use the “Back-Left" or the “Back” button of your browser. You can also correct your entries directly in the respective input or text fields to be filled in and provided. Finally, you have the possibility to correct input errors by closing the browser window, i.e., by pressing the "X" button in the upper right corner of your browser window.
